JPMorgan Chase believes in a holistic approach to risk analysis by incorporating key risk disciplines including but not limited to Credit, Market, Principal, Liquidity, Model, Legal, Fiduciary, Reputation, and Operational Risk weighing these against returns. The Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) team is an independent second line of defense unit that proactively identifies potential operational risks throughout the Firm. Our Operational Risk Management team is committed to being a world-class leader in risk management, maintaining a system of strong controls, providing guidance and clear direction on key principles and proactively managing risks to guard against financial loss or other damages.

As a member of the CCB Operational risk Team , this role is visible to senior management and offers the opportunity to foster effective relationships with key first and second line of defense partners.

In this role you will:


  • Perform on going risk assessment of the CCB Operation Services and Lending function
  • Perform Monitoring and drive Testing request
  • Perform other 2nd line framework activity like significant event review , Quarterly MRI Challenge/QORA, Operational Risk Scenario Analysis, and NBIA Reporting)

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in risk management or similar discipline of risk identification required (financial services environment preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business processes, analyze potential risks and think outside the box to recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Consumer Operations not specific to Business Banking
  • Highly disciplined, able to make independent decisions and work with limited supervision while exceling in a dynamic, demanding environment.
  • Experience in leading and delivering cross-functional initiatives, with the ability to collaborate with business and functional experts to provide risk assessment guidance, recognize risks and design enhancements.
  • Proven track record of fostering relationships across all levels and operating through influence, with the confidence to formulate, advocate and drive ideas forward.
  • Experience in developing and delivering well designed executive presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to negotiate, compromise and demonstrate diplomacy in sensitive situations and to interact effectively with senior management.
  • Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to quickly learn new applications; SharePoint administration, JIRA and Tableau experience a plus.
