Job Description:

Objective: The Launch Systems Analystwill assist Program Launch Business Manager with creating systems, analyze the results, and making recommendations for improvement. Assist launch teams with internal process changes requested by Production Plants. Manage EOP (End of Production) tasks when milestones are identified by Sales and Marketing Teams. This would include moving parts from serial production to service, reduced volume, or end of life.
Qualified candidates will possess the following Minimum Requirements:

Associates degree (Business preferred)
At least one year of experience in an administrative or office environment
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and drive on-time completion of administrative tasks with a high degree of detail and attention to accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Project)
Strong self-motivation, with the ability to manage workload with minimal supervision
Ability and willingness to work well in a team-based work setting, building effective work relationships using collaboration skills
Excellent communication (written and verbal), customer service, and interpersonal skills
Strong organization skills, including detail-oriented project-management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Exceptional professional attributes of dependability and confidentiality
An excellent work record, including attendance

Outstanding candidates will possess the following Desired Requirements:

Bachelor degree (Business preferred)
Previous experience in the automotive industry
Working knowledge of accounting procedures
Strong technical skills

Essential Functions:
Finance:

Create, troubleshoot, and make recommendations for tooling project budgets within EAM.

Create, troubleshoot, and update approved tooling project budgets within EAM.
Analysis and tracking of approved over budget spending on tooling projects.
Analysis and tracking of China Tooling Projects.
Create tooling summary of actual spend versus quoted assumptions.
Create, update, and make recommendations regarding the Cost of Goods Sold as requested by launch, purchasing, sales, and cost estimating team members.

Quality/Production/Shipping:

Create and distribute Engineering Change documents for projects reaching End of Life Cycle. (i.e., Service, Cancelation, and Obsolete as required for Grand Rapids, Franklin, Mexico, and Hungry plants.


Create and distribute Engineering Change notices as required for internal Equipment Move and/or Equipment Disposition.
Lead cross-functional team and create project timelines to ensure successful on-time disposition of End of Life Cycle projects.
Engage and Lead cross-functional team to ensure system updates are successfully completed on time for projects affected by Equipment Move and/or Equipment Disposition.
Maintaining and organizing appropriate APQP documents within Part Folders.
Record and track Projects that require a Gate 4.2 Action Plans Status Review disposition.
Record and update Project PPAP disposition spreadsheet.
Prepare and validate departmental metrics reports and presentations.

Customer Service (Internal & External):

Update and publish agenda for Launch / Production Planning.
Update and publish agendas for Gate Review Meetings.
Create and edit sales orders in QAD related to early parts, cap runs, and prove out runs.
Managing EOP transition of projects.

Organization/Communication/Professionalism:

Schedule and maintain Daily Gate Review Meetings.
Facilitate weekly Launch / Production Planning Meetings.
Forecast monthly PPAP Submissions.
Update, analyze, and make recommendations for continual launch performance improvements.
Support the Program Launch Business Manager and Director of Program Launch with any other additional projects that develop.
Effectively communicate with co-workers and management personnel to enhance teamwork and communication initiatives.
Maintain confidentiality with all information communicated and provided.
Consistently exhibit appropriate attendance habits, working the hours necessary to perform the job.
Organize and maintain personal work area.
