Senior IT Director at Appriss, Inc. in Broomfield, Colorado

Job Description:

This Senior IT Director is responsible for leading the technical infrastructure and security vision for global SaaS business in the fast-paced Retail segment. A successful candidate will have experience leading a globally distributed team to manage the infrastructure and security of a predominantly windows environment running in Azure and global data centers. The Director will also provide support for the company's Microsoft 365 environment and other productivity software solutions. A successful candidate should be well versed in running IT operations in a Cloud or a hybrid IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement IT systems in a primarily Windows environment.


• Lead the migration to infrastructure as code supporting a dev-ops environment.


• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.


• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies and procedures to provide a stable and well-run infrastructure environment.


• Manage the direction of security policies and adherence globally.


• Successfully manage the SOC2 and ISO audit processes annually.


• Work with Software engineering teams to evolve the infrastructure direction to support new applications.


• Manage a continuous improvement process to improve the effectiveness and security of the technical environment.


• Work with business leaders to identify and implement solutions to improve company effectiveness.


• Select and build strong teams through formal training, diverse assignments, and coaching, mentoring, and other development techniques.


• Set and deliver on OKR's to support the business objectives.


• Preserve assets, information security and control structures.


• Manage IT annual budget and propose ideas to improve efficiency.


• Manages and develops project cost estimates, benefits to improve the infrastructure environment.


• Participate in Merger and Acquisition activities
  
  

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience as an IT director or manager.


• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems


• Experience leading in an agile working environment.


• Expertise in data center management and Azure cloud management for a SaaS product company.


• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation


• Demonstrated ability to lead a technical team.


• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and articulate the financial impacts of technical decisions.


• BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
