Job Description:

Nemours is seeking a Patient Services Specialist (Full-Time), to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Pensacola, FL.

This position is responsible for performing as a customer service representative for all divisions. Accurately obtain and enter all essential information needed to complete registration and schedule appointments while following standard business practices. Provide excellent service to internal and external customers as a member of the PSS team.

• Customer Service: answer phone lines in a prompt and courteous manner, and handle appropriately.
• Registration: collect, maintain and insure accuracy of patient and insurance information through the use of standard business practices.
• Scheduling: understand visit types and proper utilization of questionnaires to efficiently schedule appointments.
• Communication: daily management of electronic communication (Outlook messages, Microsoft Teams, EPIC messages, Telephone Encounters).
• Ability to cover outbound work as assigned.
• All other duties assigned by supervisior.

• High School Diploma required. Specialized (1 year of training beyond high school).
• Minimum of one (1) year experience required.
• Medical office and/or call center experience preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
