SUMMARYSet up and operate a sprayer or x-coater that coats moulding with paint, lacquer, varnish, or topcoating materials.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay include, but are not limited to, the following:Set up coater or spray booths.
Carry paint in pails or drums to coater or spray system.
Check color and viscosity to specifications.
Feed moulding into feed machine according to schedule.
Check millage of paint coating for correct application.
Use correct thinner and paints, and make sure all paint is covered.
Mix paints before application, clean up all spills, ensure moulding is free of dirt during coating process.
Make sure all grounding straps and safety devices are used (ear plugs, static eliminators and goggles).
Communicate with Grader to ensure processed moulding meets quality standards.
Keep area clean and in order.
Maintain level of quality consistent with established standards.
Comply with established safety rules.
Comply with company policy and procedures.
Maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, lead, supervisors and managers.
Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.
Perform other duties as assigned to the satisfaction of supervisor and/or lead.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Machine operating experience including machine set up preferred.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Communicate in writing and orally with supervisor, lead, and other employees.
Write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Employee will regularly move 150-pound drums with two wheeled dollies. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee occasionally works in high precarious places and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hearing and eye protection is required at all times in the work area. Hand protection is occasionally required.
