3rd Shift Compounder, Princeton NJ at Firmenich in Princeton, New Jersey

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and monitor process equipment in area of responsibility.


• Maintain batch sheets, spreadsheets, and other documentation.


• Understand production systems (e.g., SAP, MES, WAC)


• Troubleshooting process or equipment problems.


• Recognize problems and unusual events and communicate to Supervisor and Shift Leader.


• Provide clear communication at shift change.


• Material movements (drums, forklift, etc.)


• Acquire the skills to operate the sanitization room, ability to package product, become proficient on the automate machines and be able to compound product


• Assist and train co-workers/Operators as needed.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent


• Minimum 3-5 years of chemical operating experience.


• Understanding and compliance with emergency and safety procedures and practices.


• Knowledge of G.M.P's (Good Manufacturing Practices)


• Knowledge of H.A.C.C.P (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points


• Must be able to work M- F 2pm-1030pm

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to be on your feet 60% - 90% of the day;


• Frequently lift a 35 lb. product hose;


• Frequently move, lift, pull & push up to 50 lbs.;


• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).


• Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hot & cold);


• Must have the ability to operator a forklift.
