Job Description

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is looking for candidates to be part of a cross-functional team of developers that support the Naval Reactors Facility. Responsibilities will include working with customers to develop custom, non-enterprise, agile solutions to improve processes and simplify work flows.

This role might be for you if you:

• Have strong analytical and written and oral communication skills


• Are a self starter and are quick to learn and put new skills to use.


• Have the capability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems


• Have development experience with C#, Java, or other modern programminglanguage


• Have experience developing and deploying services in a Microsoft Operating System environment.


• Have experience automating task(s) using a scripting language.

Required Skills

Associate:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university

Intermediate:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years relevant experience; or


• Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year relevant experience

Preferred Skills

The Successful candidatewill have several of the following skills:

• SharePoint / Web development using JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, and SharePoint RESTAPI.


• Database development for SQL Server, and Oracle using SQL.


• Microsoft Office application development using Access, Excel, and VBA.


• Microsoft PowerBI.


• Other programming languages including Java, C#, .Net, PowerShell, and Python.


• Experience Using source/version control tools, such as Git, SVN, or Azure DevOps.
