Philips
BioTel Heart is seeking a
Product Owner to join our ambulatory monitoring and diagnostic development
team. The Product Owner will work in an
Agile environment and will be responsible for defining and prioritizing requirements
in the development team's backlog.
The Product Owner has a significant role in maximizing
the value produced by the team and ensuring stories meet the user's needs and
comply with the definition of done. This role has significant relationships and
responsibilities outside the scrum team, including working with Product
Management, Sales, Operations, Customers, UX/UI Design, and other stakeholders.
The Product Owner will work directly with Product
Management and is ultimately responsible for the delivery of features that
support BioTel Heart's business objectives. The qualified candidate will have a passion
for innovation and a customer-focused mindset.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities


  • Meet with stakeholders to understand product / business requirements

  • Define user stories and prioritize product backlog based on business
    value

  • Attend daily standup meetings and retrospectives with the development
    team

  • Accept stories by validating that the story meets acceptance criteria

  • Lead sprint reviews and refinement sessions

  • Support Product Management in defining the product vision and roadmap

  • Participate in identifying opportunities for continuous team and
    process improvement

  • Communicate and champion product benefits to senior management and
    other stakeholders

  • Deals well with ambiguity and thrives in a fast-paced environment
    driven by senior leadership requests and evolving needs

Education and Experience Requirements


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Product Analyst or Business Analyst

  • Familiarity with MS Office suite of products

  • Familiarity with Jira / Confluence a plus

  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development process

  • Able to work cross-functionally in a team environment

  • Strong writing skills and the ability to break complex ideas in simple,
    easy to understand, steps

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without supervision
