Experience/Qualifications: 10-15 years of experience in a professional environment marketing and selling engineered products or services to the Power Generation industry with experience in the nuclear sector. We are looking for a goal-oriented, enthusiastic individual with outstanding communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, strong writing and computer skills, and the ability to deal effectively with co-workers and clients. Will have high energy, a positive, up-beat, can-do personality, and experience in working within a team environment. Strong understanding of process required to market, promote and implement engineered services and products through a complex and extended sales cycle, targeting design-build opportunities typically for existing structures. Capable of developing marketing plans, along with learning and sharing information on engineered products, their functions, applicability and standards proposal development. Ability to interface well with all levels of an organization internally including engineering, operations and sales.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as CRM systems.
Solid understanding of sales process with the ability to explain that process from identification of opportunity through close of sale.
Basic technical understanding of concrete construction, concrete repair and associated technologies aimed at extending the service life of concrete structures.
Preferred Experience
15 years of experience working in a sales and marketing role within the nuclear, hydro and fossil power markets.
Advanced technical knowledge of concrete structures, repair and technologies aimed at extending the service life of concrete structures.
Experience working in a team environment, preferably engineered products or services in a multi-stepped process.
Essential Duties
Sales & Marketing:
Support Structural Technologies by providing sales and marketing leadership aimed at developing and selling design-build projects within the Nuclear, Hydro & Fossil power markets.
The primary duty of this position is to support company efforts in the Power Generation market by building and/or implementing marketing plans and strategically developing, maintaining and growing relationships targeting design-build project opportunities.
Develop and deliver presentations to current and potential Power Generation clients on Company products and services, and work with team members across the Company to follow up on feedback and inquiries that arise from presentations.
Participate in web-based meetings, in-person meetings, emails, and phone calls to support Power Generation market business development efforts.
Follow up, pursue and communicate information on project and client needs in coordination with Branches and/or Branch BDM's.
Promote design-build delivery within the Power Generation market to maximize sales and meet Company goals.
Support proposal development for Power market projects with Branches, Branch BDM's and Technologies.
Within the Power market, support proposal presentations, follow-up meetings and closing for design-build projects.
Work with Sales Leaders, Branches and/or Branch BDM's to focus on Key project and lead the selling process including formation of collaborative team for Key project pursuits.
Work with Branches and/or Branch BDM's to monitor ongoing Power projects and perform ongoing communication with clients as needed.
Working with Sales Leaders, Branches and/or Branch BDM's, maintain Power opportunities in Salesforce.
Tradeshows, Seminars and Events:
Work to identify valuable new conferences, seminars and events for company to participate to promote Company's Power capabilities.
Attend professional conferences, seminars and participate in industry events as needed.
Talk with attendees who visit tradeshow booths about our Power capabilities.
Network with attendees throughout these events.
