Responsible for performing various accounting duties including cash and debt accounting, international and intercompany accounting, assisting in the month end close process, reconciling accounts and providing accounting support to the Executive and the Finance departments.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Cash and debt accounting


• International accounting (daily sales, invoicing, etc)


• Intercompany accounting (loans, invoicing, etc)


• Accounting for Executive and Finance departments (actuals, projection and budget)


• Prepares monthly journal entries -Performs monthly account reconciliations


• JDE maintenance


• Other various items

Expected Areas of Competence

• Ability to work independently and as a team member

• Highly motivated, self starter willing to meet strict deadlines and time constraints

• Ability to communicate both orally and in written form to multiple departments and levels of the organization

• Ability to learn new software programs easily and quickly

• Facilitates team efforts on multiple accounting projects

• Strong computer skills with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.

• Working knowledge of the JD Edwards accounting menus and programs is preferred. Basic understanding of GAAP requirements

Education/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or other related area


• 3+ years of experience

Travel Requirements

• up to 10%
