Duties include:

The Integration Architect is a key position within the Data Management team, responsible for the design, development, test and implementation of best-in-class Middleware solutions using MuleSoft for the organization. This is an architecture role that will be engaged in all phases of the Data Integrations lifecycle, and will be called upon to mentor less experienced team members as necessary.


  • Design, develop and maintain Integration solutions using best practices.


  • Provide architectural analysis for MuleSoft integrations including definition of standards for scalability, security, error handling, and auditing.


  • Assist in estimating and scoping of all Mulesoft implementations.


  • Analyze the requirements and prepare technical specifications and detail level design documents.


  • Drive the Design, Development and Deployment of Mule flows.


  • Implement DevOps for all MuleSoft integrations, participate in all types of testing, including unit testing, point-to-point testing, end-to-end testing and UAT.


  • Support/enhance/create integrations to address business requirements, ensuring all related processes meets best-in-class standards offering high performance.


  • Designing, prototyping and delivering APIs integration and applications in varied deployment models - cloud based, on premise and hybrid. 70%


  • Required to work on other areas of data integrations including batch processes using SQL Server and SSIS ETL/ELT. 10%


  • Serves as resource to internal, offshore MuleSoft team and third-party team members on escalated issues and analyzing and designing specifications for less experienced team members. 10%


  • Pursues self-development and effective relationships with others by sharing resources, information, and knowledge with coworkers and customers. Seeks opportunities to deliver continuous process improvement. 10%


Job requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Math or related field and 8 years of related experience. In the alternative, Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Math or related field and 6 years of related experience will be considered.

Skills:


  • 6 years’ experience in Middleware projects using one or more integration tools such as IBM Data Power, IBM API Connect, Software AG WebMethods, Mule ESB, Oracle Fusion and ETL.


  • 2 years’ experience in Mule ESB.


  • 2 years’ experience in defining, modeling, building and optimizing data integrations architecture for middleware solutions.


  • Experience developing REST, SOAP and micro services.


  • Experience in the following technologies: Java, , JSON, XML, XSLT, Message Queue (MQ), Web API – SOAP, REST and authentication methods such as OAUTH and SAML.


  • Experience with Services Oriented Architecture and RESTful Architecture and web services development


  • 2 years’ experience in implementing OAUTH using any middleware products.


  • Experience in testing REST APIs using tools like SOAP UI, Postman, Advanced REST Client.


  • Experience in Mule integrations, API management, API policies and security


  • 2 years’ experience in an architect role on multiple complex middleware projects.


  • Experience with RESTful API design and development using MuleSoft Anypoint platform.


  • Experience with Mulesoft API-Led Platform Architecture including encryption, security, logging, throttling, scalability and clustering.


  • Experience in designing API’s using RAML on design center


  • Experience in various integration patterns, message transformation, validation, routing and orchestrating in MuleSoft


  • Experience with one or more CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, Nexus, GitHub, TFS.


  • Experience with working on Onsite and Offshore model.
