Our J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Content team is seeking a digital content writer to help us create compelling content for our clients and the general public. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in a rapidly growing part of our business as we strive to serve our clients in new ways.

We're a highly motivated team that operates like a news organization. This is a great job for someone who is interested in finance and has writing and/or journalism experience, and who also has a creative streak.

The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and comprised of the Chase wealth management business, J.P. Morgan Advisors and a digital investing platform. The combined business has ~$400 billion in Assets under Management and ~4,000 advisors who work out of 3,500 branches and 21 offices.

Main responsibilities:


  • Use the firm's award-winning research and thought leadership to create written digital content in the form of news and educational articles, video scripts, newsletters, and social media posts, for both existing and prospective clients.
  • Identify emerging trends and timely content that is relevant for wealth planning.
  • Assist in creating copy for a variety of multi-media content; including web-based articles, emails, social posts, videos, podcasts, and live webcasts.
  • Partner closely with content creators and strategists, marketers and communicators around the company.
  • Leverage materials from other lines of business within J.P. Morgan to provide clients with relevant and timely content.
  • Effectively manage multiple strategic content projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2+ years of experience writing for digital content, news media, or communications.
  • A natural storyteller with a passion for getting creative, simplifying the complex, and bringing ideas to life.
  • Highly organized and collaborative thinker.
  • Experience in investments, trading, or wealth management is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and partner with others.
  • Strong initiative, energy and confidence.
  • Genuine interest in the world of financial markets and personal finance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required.
