ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Avaya Professional Services Sr. Program Director is the senior services lead responsible for ensuring that enterprise clients realize the benefits of digital transformation with measurable business outcomes. The Sr. Program Director is the client's transformation leader, orchestrating the many interrelated organizations, teams, business partners, services, tools, and processes required for successful business transformation. Candidates will have successfully led large programs for difficult clients on advanced technologies.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Own delivery, operations and continuous improvement functions for Avaya's Top 100 accounts
Enable long term success and growth through governance (program steering committees, executive sponsors, and escalations) and through regular benefits reviews, workshops, and roadmap alignment discussions
Leverage improved governance and Avaya tools to help account teams and clients establish a 2-3-year roadmap with clear milestones and success criteria that drives benefits outcomes
Collect/monitor relevant metrics to quantify benefits realization over the term of the contract
Collaborate with client, Avaya, and vendor teams to ensure that resources required are fully documented and agreed upon by all stakeholders
Establish a review process for pre-sales activity to include quality assurance of SOWs
Lead cross-functional teams (sales, project management, engineering, service management, and support) through the iterative process of designing, planning, delivering, and supporting capabilities (projects) required to realize the benefits of your client's transformation
Manage executive expectations through detailed communication & escalation plans, risk definition & analysis, and quality management plans
Drive revenue growth and margin expansion by improving quality of delivery and communications, establishing a vision and continuous improvement and providing client value
ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE:
10+ years of project management, program management, or related management experience
Proven success leading the design and delivery of large, complex, global technology solutions - ideally in unified communications, collaboration, and contact center areas
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Exceptional C-Level verbal, written, and presentation skills
Knowledge of Program Management Methodology
Ability to delegate and govern teams efficiently and effectively
Understanding of the entire lifecycle of a service
Consultatively capture client needs and develop roadmaps to achieve those needs
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Full Time, Work from home, travel to client as needed
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION:
BS/BA required, MBA desired
PMP, ITIL or equivalent certifications preferred
