Dura-Line is currently hiring a Remote contractor in our Operations team.

Project: Global Lead Time Process

Program term:  6-9 months

Location:  North America & Europe (Remote)

Project Purpose:

This position will work through all the regional and system challenges to implement the one authorized method of calculating lead time, considering the impact from operations, inventory planning, commercial, and other departments. We have almost 20 sites worldwide and there are many ways to calculate and communicate product lead time. This information is critical to winning orders, but it must be accurate so our customers can plan their activities. We need to implement the correct method to all sites and align everyone on the correct way to report and use the data. This person will upgrade the current best practice method of communication to a mobile ready PowerBI platform that aligns with other Ops activities.

Impact: Past Due Order Value, Past Due Days, OTS, Gross Revenue Invoiced

Knowledge Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or equivalent work experience


• Well versed in Microsoft Office (able to create reports & dashboards, gather & analyze data, make presentations, and manage input & outputs).


• Experience in PowerBi database/interface and dashboarding, or Tableau


• Must have experience in manufacturing and/or knowledge of manufacturing processes & systems


• 2-3 years’ experience with SAP in production planning is a plus


• APICS CPIM certification is a plus

Additional Competencies:

• Understand production confirmations, open order volumes, and on time shipment calculations


• Must be able to work with many cultures and cross functional & global teams


• Strong communication, project management and organizational skills.
