Project Accountant

NV5 is looking for a Project Accountant to fill an immediate opening preferrebly in its St. Paul office. This person will be working with project managers in multiple states and with the Assistant Controller preferrebly located in the St. Paul office. This position can also be located near any of the following cities: Boston, MA, Andover, MA, Chicago, IL, Washington, DC, Houston, TX, or Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

* Create, review, and maintain project master data within Deltek Vision
* Work with project managers to produce accurate and timely invoices
* Answer inquiries from staff, vendors, and clients
* Assist in collection and review of accounts receivable
* Conduct monthly AR meeting and provide monthly comments to Management
* Produce financial information and reports on projects
* Review project reports with project managers
* Review client and sub-consultant contracts and scope changes for proper supporting documentation
* Enter sub-consultant invoices within Deltek Vision
* Record and file all negotiated credits, write-offs, claim payments or other labor and expense adjustments on projects
* Review revenue based on established revenue earning formulas with each project manager for monthly revenue meetings
* Assist in risk assessment by alerting Controller and project manager to potential risks

Qualifications

* Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
* Deltek Vision experience preferred
* Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate with all employees across all levels of the company
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
