Job Description SummaryOUTFRONT Media is looking for a Quality Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering team in testing and validating software systems and hardware devices on our ONSMART platform.

Responsibilities
* Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
* Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
* Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
* Design, develop and execute automation scripts using various tools
* Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs using Atlassian Tools
* Perform thorough regression testing when features are implemented or bugs are resolved
* Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
* Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers, operations team, and product owners) to identify system requirements
* Monitor debugging process results
* Investigate the root-causes of non-conforming software
* Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts
* Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Requirements
* Minimum 5 years experience of testing embedded network systems
* Proven work experience in full stack software development with strong knowledge of one of the compiled programming languages (C, C++, Java) and one of the interpreted programming languages (Python, Ruby on Rails)
* Must be Linux Internals Expert and comfortable writing Shell Scripts
* Proven work experience writing automated e2e tests
* Proven work experience in software quality assurance
* Strong knowledge of software QA/QE methodologies, tools and processes including functional testing, featuring testing, system testing, boundary testing, error testing, performance testing, load testing, longevity testing, backward-compatibility testing, smoke testing, regression testing, etc...)
* Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
* Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
* Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
* Strong organization skills with ability to work independently as well as within a cross-functional teams setting
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process using Slack and Atlassian Tools such as JIRA and Confluence
* Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
* Experience working with Android is a strong plus
* Experience working with Web and Mobile Technologies and Frameworks such as Angular, React, Ember is a plus
* BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
