Billing Specialist at EnSafe in Knoxville, Tennessee

Job Description:

We have an immediate opening for an energetic, highly organized, detailoriented, self-starter to join us in Knoxville as a Billing Specialist. This position will provide a full range of support to our project managers and clients, demonstrating tact and diplomacy as well as outstanding communication skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Project A/R Invoicing: Under minimal supervision, managing the A/R billing life cycle for assigned projects, clients, and/or Project Managers.


• Project Maintenance: Assist with the new project setup process or the updating of existing projects with client data in regard to new project awards, existing project modifications, and any other client related data updates.


• Project Technical Performance Reporting: Provide technical and operational support and services to ensure quality assurance standards are met in providing support to various project tasks. Develop reports on the progress and status of assigned projects in relation to client billing submittals.


• File Maintenance: Set-up, maintain electronic and hard copy project files, and searching and retrieving documents as needed.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this position, we require a minimum of Bachelor degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Information Technology or similar discipline from a fully accredited university. In addition, mastery of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word at a minimum is required. Current experience with financial software such as BST Global Enterprise. A minimum of 3 years full-time increasingly responsible experience is required (preferably in a technical/consulting environment), high level of accuracy, organization, judgment and attention to detail, superior verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to be resourceful and professional within a culturally diverse office setting.
