Job Summary Azimuth is seeking one or more Talent Acquisition (Recruiter) team members to support our growing business. Our Talent Recruitment staff is responsible for the end-to-end process of seeking out new staff for current contracts and business development/proposal needs, including passive and active searching, talent assessment, legal compliance (e.g. EEOC, Affirmative Action Plans, OFCCP, etc), coordination with Program Managers, Human Resources, and on up to the President/CEO.
Roles and Responsibilities
Positions and skills are available ranging from Junior Recruiter through Talent Acquisition Manager. The Roles and Responsibilities will be according to the experience level of the candidate, and may cover the following:
Execute Position Description/Requisitions for all areas seeking talent with input from program management, BD, or contract documentation, etc.
Collaborate and guide, as appropriate, BD staff in support of recruiting for business capture and proposal efforts
Create and manage job postings, IAW Azimuth job posting standards, on Azimuth's website utilizing the designated electronic tracking system (ADP), as well as other sites as needed.
Develop, manage, and maintain resume pool for personnel, candidates (gathered using ATS system and sourced)
Conduct resume analysis from applicants or sourced candidates, making recommendations to program managers, business development and supervisors
Conduct pre-screening as dictated by resume analysis or direction by hiring manager; report pre-screening results to hiring manager using ATS system
Arrange and schedule in-person or remote collaborative interviews with potential candidates.
Lead or coordinate monthly to annual assimilation of recruiting data from applicant sources and hiring compliance requirements
Assist Human Resources with efforts related to employee engagement and satisfaction related to recruiting
Create and manage as-needed societal and/or Job Board memberships/relationships (e.g., APS, LinkedIn, Clearance Jobs) to facilitate job sourcing for talent.
Attend daily activity meeting, weekly Business Development meeting to be held at the discretion of the Vice President of Programs (VPP), Business Development Department
Provide weekly Recruitment Update and Prioritization to the VPP
Coordinate and manage the attendance of job fairs / hiring events as requested.
Complete all government and/or Azimuth-required training or certifications

Education, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations, or similar field is strongly preferred
A Junior Recruiter may have 2+ years' experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years without.
A Senior (Talent Acquisition Manager) may have 12+ years' experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 8+ years with a Master's degree
Naturally self-driven and proactive
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, creating positive corporate image and maintain composure and poise
Microsoft Office applications minimum intermediate proficiency
Effective and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulatory compliance (EEOC)
Excellent organization skills
Maintain highest degree of confidentiality regarding any PII or other corporate private/proprietary information to which the position may be exposed
Experience Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)/ ADP preferred
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting the recruiting efforts of a remote-located facility/office and client base
Basic knowledge of government contracting industry and terminology
Basic knowledge of government clearances, clearance processing requirements, acquisitions, intelligence, and other areas of customer business base
Experience recruiting for multiple locations, along with commensurate understanding/appreciation of market-specific labor considerations (e.g., Dayton, OH versus NCR)
Experience recruiting in a range of fields, from administrative to PhD level scientific research
Physical Requirements / Travel
Normal office environment.
Some telework may be possible.
Normal operations may include up to 10% travel to support job/recruiting fairs and similar but are currently dependent on safe (pandemic) operations.
