Are you a strategic do-er with the desire to join an in-house Marketing and Communications team? Our business delivers personalized financial planning to individuals across the U.S. through multiple service lines, reaching people at various levels of net worth. The Marketing and Communications team develops multi-channel marketing and communications that support client retention, client engagement and organic acquisition goals. We are seeking an individual that understands the workflow of creative projects, can help plan and coordinate activities, will ensure goals and objectives are both identified and documented, and that all work is executed in a timely and efficient manner. Projects range from print collateral, presentations and client newsletters to video content and digital campaigns. This individual has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, strong communication skills, coordination across multiple stakeholders and client service are essential to maintaining and enhancing our business.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

    Discuss the scope of work, schedules and budgets with the team to prepare a framework for planning workflow.
  • Traffic projects from initiation to project closure, monitoring the progress of production through different work functions and external suppliers, and adjust schedules accordingly.

  • Manage vendor relationships including, contracts, communications and budgeting

  • Create a detailed project schedule identifying: Major activities and deliverables; Detailed activities sequence; Deliverable ownership.

  • Create, maintain and drive project schedules and accountability with the creative team and key stakeholders

  • Ensure all project information is appropriately documented and memorialized

  • Provide communication to update stakeholders on project progress, project risks and open issues

  • Ensure project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality and internal reviews required

  • Set up administrative systems to help track time, cost and progress for each project.

  • Continuously develop and maintain procedures to ensure accuracy and quality across deliverables

  • Ability to create agendas and facilitate meetings as needed

WHERE WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

The role will be based in Cohoes, New York and interact with PFMG team and offices across the U.S.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Minimum of 5 years' project management, marketing experience a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field

  • Thorough understanding of the creative development process a plus

  • Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Microsoft products, including Project, Visio, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Additional project management software and system knowledge a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Working knowledge of CRM tools, Adobe Marketing Cloud and Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Ability to work directly with stakeholders, copywriters and designers to shift priorities and resources to meet deadlines

  • Ability to balance strategic focus with tactical implementation/execution

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time, setting, meeting and exceeding targets

  • Budgeting skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to develop excellent relationships at all levels within the organization

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management skills

  • Strong visual, verbal and written communication

  • Strong sense of detail and urgency, with the ability to motivate others to deliver
