Summary

We are seeking a full-time Electrician / Elec Tech to work in our Hazleton facility. The Electrician / Elec Tech must use skills and/or abilities to perform required duties satisfactorily. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Run conduit Install of industrial equipment, plugs, lights, etc. to/from service equipment to devices per electrical prints/schematics


• Install electrical devices such as distribution panels, lights, receptacles, switchgear, UPS, generator, TVSS, etc.


• Read blueprints or technical diagrams.


• Pull wire and make terminations of the complete electrical system for equipment


• Label system components as required


• Troubleshoot controls, both mechanical and electrical


• Maintain a clean work area


• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications and Requires Skills

• High school diploma / equivalent or comparable combination of education, training, and experience


• Working experience of voltages up to 480


• Experience with Lock-Out-Tag-Out


• Ability to understand and apply basic mathematical skills


• Must have good attendance  


• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and electrical schematics


• Ability to use power hand tools, tape measure, and level


• Journeyman electrical license preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to use power hand tools, tape measure, and level


• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds (No lifting more than 40 pounds without using a forklift, dolly or other apparatus as permitted).


• Intermittent climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.


• Walking up and down elevated catwalks and stairs and standing for long periods of time.


• Working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility with exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise.
