Under the direction of the Materials Planning and Logistics Manager. The Material Planning and Logistics Supervisor receives and analyzes customer release information ensuring all shipments are delivered to the customer on a timely basis. Manages the team of Customer Service Representatives and assigned Material Handlers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supervising Team of Customer Service Representatives, CSRs including managing daily task completion
Supervise Material Handlers
Lead Customer service communication and provide Training for computer systems / websites
Lead CSRs who work with domestic and international shipments
Oversea the responsibility of scheduling and communicating expedited customer shipments, as necessary
Address customer orders/issues with Master Scheduling and Operations as needed
Responsible for department SAP functions concerning customer releases/shipments
Manage Customer Release Analysis
Manage Customer EDI Errors
Maintains close contact with all customers in order for the needs of the customer to be met while protecting Cooper Standard interests
Monitor/maintain customer website requirements
Manage customer delivery ratings
Update customer information (i.d. contact lists)
Maintain SAP department parameters
Monitor customer part numbers balance out
Work with Finance on billing issues or Pro Forma
Department training and evaluation
May be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description
Education and Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent
Four to six years of manufacturing experience preferred
Good written and verbal communication skills
Able to supervise and manage assigned employees
Able to multi-task and prioritize efficiently
Accurate and timely
Good organization and planning skills
Knowledge and functional with Office Software of PC and SAP
Knowledge of Customer systems -Stellantis E Supplier Connect, GM Supply Power, Ford E-DDL, Ford Super G
Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary
Work Environment/Work Conditions:
Professional Office Environment
Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on manufacturing floor
Travel to manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required
Equipment used requires proper training on the potential for and avoidance of injury
