Position Description

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk reports to and assists the Logistics Manager by performing, documenting, and tracking the selecting, shipping, and receiving of customer and supplier product and information. This position does not supervise any employees.

Job performance will involve a variety of activities including but not limited to:

-Utilize SAP ERP system

- Stock supply shelves, perform cycle counts, issue materials and deliver supplies to internal customers

- Verify all goods and information received against purchase orders and/ or shipping documents and record all data in ERP system

- Packages, verifies and labels outgoing shipping and parcels

- Utilize FedEx, UPS, or DHL online shipping programs for daily order processing

- Additional duties and overtime as required and assigned

Position Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED required

- Previous experience in a team-orientated pick/pack order fulfillment operation with shipping & receiving functionality preferred. Life science or Biotech experience is a plus

- Previous experience with FedEx, UPS, or DHL online shipping software preferred

- Experience with ERP Systems (Epicor, SAP, Syteline, Infor, etc.) preferred

- Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel

- Perform the physical labor necessary to safely complete tasks

- May need to lift and carry up to 50lbs unassisted, 70+lbs with assistance

- Must be able to push, pull or otherwise operate manual pallet jack and/or hand truck

- Stand and walk for long periods of time
