Change Management Strategy at Gensler is focused on enabling transformation. Your Role

Gensler's New York-based strategy consulting team is growing and we are looking for candidates who have outstanding communication, planning, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing client-specific change management strategies for a range of clients in professional services, financial services, technology and a range of other diverse industry verticals.

Comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic, open, collaborative environment and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously is a must. Candidates should be self-starters, quick learners and have an entrepreneurial spirit. The position requires a creative thinker who is able to develop appropriate change management programs for our clients while nurturing the client relationship.

What You Will Do


  • Focus on the 'people' side of change, including changes to the workplace, work practices, shifts in desired behaviors, protocols, culture, and technology


  • Develop and implement change management strategies that raise awareness through communications and create both ownership and capability that sustains beyond the program


  • Collaborate and partner with our clients' human resources, real estate, facilities, IT, communications, and learning and development teams


  • Create appropriate delivery models dependent on client resources and location


  • Interface with Gensler design teams to ensure the connections between the design process and change program are fully integrated


  • Develop change management strategy development proposals, including scope and compensation


  • Manage projects, including directing the work of Junior colleagues with direction from Senior staff


  • Grow existing client relationships


Your Qualifications


  • Bachelor Degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of relevant professional experience


  • Organizational development and/or change management experience; design or design strategy experience a plus but not required


  • Strong client relationship and/or account management experience


  • Project management or team leadership experience


  • Demonstrated ability to execute projects profitably


  • Advanced persuasive writing skills; graphic design experience desirable


  • High degree of flexibility, ability to work on multiple projects once


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)


  • Competency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign)


  • Ability to facilitate work sessions with a audiences at various organizational levels
