Job Description
Project Manager will work as part of the Cloud Navigator team and working closely with Operations, and Cloud engineering teams to assist application organization with migrating to the cloud. The Project Manager may be responsible for leading meetings, managing ongoing processes, stakeholder management, change management, internal and client communications, and administrative tasks.
The Project Manager will coordinate schedule tasks and track the progress via dashboards, meetings and collaboration, reporting results to leadership. They will closely monitor tasks, meet deadlines, and develop plans as needed. The project manager will assist leadership in managing program deliverables, reporting, identifying threats and opportunities and providing support for initiatives through resolution.
Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working collaboratively with the client and across internal and external teams to plan, document, lead, organize, motivate, and promote transparency of the project's status and health.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for migrating project applications to the cloud based on documented processes and procedures of the program
Assisting clients with understanding forecast vs. budget and cost optimization efforts as they relate to the cloud budget
Managing application development organizations cloud migration based on proven processes
Managing deliverables to ensure input is capture in a timely manner for reporting out to client or leadership
Removing project blockers and managing escalations as required
Maintaining status changes, team hand-offs and high-level technical requests
Assist with the planning and implementing project financials based on approved funding
Strategically providing resolutions and continual moving tasks forward as required
Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
Working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and leadership staff
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Years of Experience: 5 years
Must have experience managing Information Technology related projects
Must be well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
Must have financial experience tracking costs, schedule, forecast and budgets for each project managed
Must be able to identify and mitigate risks
Able to work and analyze both independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Attention to details even under pressure with minimal supervision
Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Strong written and oral communication skills
Technically savvy with the ability to quickly learn new programs

Preferred Qualifications
Cloud project management experience
AWS Cloud Certification
Cloud cost management experience
Competency in Confluence and Jira applications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Contracting and cost optimization experience a plus
