Please note: our offices are currently closed due to the pandemic and our employees are working from home. Once our offices reopen, this position will transition to working in either our Arlington, Irving, TX or Naperville offices.



JOB SUMMARY: This position will oversee the organization's Enterprise monitoring team. The incumbent will play a lead role on a variety of Enterprise wide projects. The incumbent will acts as a liaison between different IT disciplines, creates and enforce technical standards, policies and procedures. Creates and maintains system workflow and IT architectural diagrams/documentation.



JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Analyze, establish and lead a continuous Monitoring strategy and roadmap across the enterprise.

2. Manage horizontal and vertical communication across the enterprise with a diverse group of stake holders to create an environment of continuous monitoring.

3. Manage daily operation of the monitoring systems to ensure stability, reliability and availability of applications and services for the business.

4. Monitor production systems to optimize and protect computer systems, networks and defined processes.

5. Lead team to identify and define system monitoring requirements as necessary. Ensures the Enterprise receives prompt notification and escalation of technical issues when pre-established metrics are exceeded.

6. Conduct research on and lead implementation of new monitoring technologies.

7. Oversee event correlation and trend analysis with an eye toward proactive remediation.

8. Create & maintain technical infrastructure architectural design & workflow documentation

9. Manage the performance review process and sets goals for direct reports

10. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of the department

11. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.

12. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

JOB SCOPE:

This position will work independently with minimal supervision to complete the job responsibilities as assigned. Work is varied and complex, requiring the individual to use a broad range of technical knowledge gained through extensive experience. The position works with internal groups and external vendors to complete objectives. The incumbent leads and mentors individuals and provides input to performance assessments. This is a people management job with authority for all HR actions (hiring, firing, discipline, training, etc.).






Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

* Minimum Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science preferred, or HS Diploma and 4 years related work experience.

* Minimum of 10 years' experience working in an IT environment supporting enterprise level systems highly desired.

* Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable

* Expert understanding of enterprise systems and application performance monitoring concepts, principles, and best practices is required

* Exceptional Communication skills (written, verbal and listening), organizational, prioritization, analytical, Project Management, problem definition and resolution skills

* Exceptional organizational skills and the Ability to manage and lead complex projects from start to finish with documented positive results

* Experience maintaining and leveraging historical metrics to demonstrate successful outcomes

* Previous experience managing a monitoring team at an enterprise level is preferred

* High level of expertise required with the application performance tools such as AppDymanics, Dynatrace, New Relic , and/or HP BSM

* Experience working with Extrahop monitoring tool is preferred

* Experience working with HP OMI, HP SiteScope, and HP Network Node Manager is preferred

* Monitoring integration experience with ServiceNow is preferred.

* Experience with SIEM tools for event correlation and performance trends is preferred.

* Experience in using SNMP based monitoring tools,

* Experience monitoring Windows and Linux Server Operating Systems

* Knowledge and understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, WAN, and LAN

* Knowledge and understanding of Web Services, IIS, and Apache

* Experience monitoring an EDI infrastructure preferred

* Ability to create and maintain documentation to support the monitoring environment

* Ability to work independently as well within a team and with client users

* Ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple work activities and meet target deadlines

* Ability to work off hours to support business needs

* Ability to use hardware and software peripherals related to job responsibilities including MS Office Suites including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

* Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier and telephone
