An Operations Engineer is needed for a full-time, staff opportunity with American Ordnance located in Middletown, Iowa.



The Work You'll Be Doing:


  • Prepare and update operator procedures for shop floor.

  • Address daily production related issues on shop floor.

  • Research and design systems related to continuous improvement.

  • Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.

  • Coordinate with external customers on shop floor related issues.

  • Develop and maintain process layouts for existing or new processes and equipment.



What You Need to Bring to the Table:


  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field; prefer IE or ME

  • 2+ years Engineering experience

  • Valid driver's license required

  • Great attitude and team player.

  • Successful completion of background screening process.

  • Knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, AutoCAD or other 3D Drawing/Modeling software. Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Ability to prepare well written procedures and technical reports.
