DASSAULT SYSTEMES has an immediate opening for a Product Manager within our Structural Simulation Application team within the SIMULIA group. This position can be located in any of our EST or CST office locations in the US. (Waltham, MA; Mason, OH; etc.)

What will your role be?

• This person will join a team, which oversees the defining and delivering world class Structural Simulation Applications enabling our users to benefit from the Roles portfolios' promised values.

• In this role you will engage with customers and representatives and deliver to internal R&D requested specs and feedback.

• In this role you will envision a strategy 3Y Plan of the Application, engineer rolling 18 mos. applications development plan, and become a champion of the 3DExperience Platform.

The Challenges Ahead

• Analyze and Understand the market i.e.: Industry / Domain challenges, Competitive landscape, Customer references , Partnership landscape, Trends / Technologies, and Business analytics (# users, App usages, ...)

• Create and maintain the Application referential by defining and documenting all the key drivers (Why, who, what, how, when and where),
  
  
  • Assess the gap analysis, Define the Mission & Value proposition, Define the targeted markets and customers Technology, Define Key differentiators, and Define primary Use Cases
  
  
  
  

• Build the rolling 18 months Application development plan
  
  
  • Compliant With Release Gates and Quality Criteria (including PCS criteria, Automation enablers delivery)
  
  
  • Ensuring Accelerated Development delivery on-time and on-quality
  
  
  • Assessing and validating Application readiness with Roles Portfolio Managers & Quality Engineering Managers
  
  
  
  


• Engineer Accelerated Development Projects


• Comply with Intellectual Property rules, including third party component usage, Export Control

• Engineer and execute "Get Well Plans" based on customer support feedbacks


• Promote value and usage of Application to maximize its re-use by Roles


• Comply with related R&D processes & Meet the Key Activity & Performance Indicators

Your Key Success Factors?

• Education: MS, or equivalent in technical focus

• At least 8+ years of Product Management experience - successfully delivered and supported production products that met revenue and user satisfaction targets


• Experience working with data models and Structural Simulation Software


• Experience gathering feedback from customers and effectively communicating with internal R&D on updates and fixes

• Strong engineering background (especially mechanical engineering), product instinct and creativity, leadership experience, ability to utilize multiple points-of-view


• Sound understanding of simulation software market and competitive landscape
