Inventory Receiving Associate - Sunday thru Wednesday 5:30pm – 4:00am. at Arhaus in Boston Heights, Ohio

Job Description:

Summary:


Inventory Receiving specialist are responsible for the integrity of inventory as well the responsibilities and procedure outlined within this document.


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


 



  1. Accounting/Receiving Rep

    1. Process receiving batches per daily inbound schedule working with the warehouse team.

    2. Logging daily freight per completed receiving batch.

    3. Print labels as needed for proper receipt and putaway.

    4. Batches closed daily as well for accounting end of month close.

    5. Log all completed paperwork with any RDR documentation and properly file.

 


 



  1. Receiving Vendor to Vendor/Direct Ship Receiving

    1. The accounting team will submit for processing all products that ship from a vendor to another vendor for a customer order to begin the production process.

    2. Review invoice for product receipt and proper freight.

    3. Receive purchase order and invoice corresponding items from order.

    4. Log all completed invoices.

 



  1. Receiving pillows into and out of 75

    1. Process receiving batches per daily inbound schedule working with the warehouse team.

    2. Batches closed daily as well for accounting end of month close.

    3. Log all completed paperwork with any RDR documentation and properly file.

Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:



  • Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred

  • Years of experience: 1 year Inventory experience preferably in a warehouse receiving environment.

  • Valid Driver’s license preferred.

  • Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and WMS experience preferred.

  • Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including receiving, picking, and shipping processes and procedures.

  • Dedicated to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary.

 


Essential Functions of the Position:



  • Performing tasks using a computer and telephone daily.

  • Repetitive processing steps.

  • Maintain confidentiality of customer’s information.

  • Always willing to adapt to change and keep an open mind to training.

  • Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
