Overview:



The Employer Relations Internship Advisor position conducts employer outreach and relationship development to foster ongoing strategic relationships for talent acquisition needs for employer partners seeking to hire interns. This role creates and sustains relationships and partnerships with national business, industry, and government on behalf of DeVry and Keller students and alumni to secure employment and internship opportunities. As an integral member of the Career Services team assesses career services outcomes against objectives. Builds marketable employer partnerships for both career services and Workforce solutions initiatives and collaborations to enhance the relationships with employer’s student employment outcomes. This individual lives the University TEACH values and fosters a culture of CARE consistent with our University mission, vision, and purpose. The Employer Relations Internship Advisor reports to the Manager of Employer Relations.








Responsibilities:




  • Enhances the Employer Relations Department via internship expansion with increased corporate partners and employer engagement.


  • Builds employer relationships to achieve employment outcomes through a high level of service and partnership.


  • Organizes employer activities and events that provide students and new graduates internship employment opportunities.


  • Increases employer internship programs with organizations seeking to fill internship positions.


  • Increases opportunities to position DeVry University as a “University of Choice” through activity and engagement with organizations seeking to hire interns.


  • Creates large-scale virtual recruiting events; career fairs, virtual interviews, etc. to connect students to employers.


  • Matches students and alumni to employer partner opportunities for internship employment outcomes.


  • Partners with remote colleagues within the team and Strategic Account Managers to communicate calendar of events, employer openings, and success stories.


  • Identifies upcoming graduate needs and builds relationships with employers to create a forward-thinking strategy for talent acquisition gaps.


  • Communicates and drives the implementation of the Home Office technology, service, and product-related initiatives.

Qualifications:




  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.


  • Remote management required; experience in a regulated environment preferred.
