Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Functional Testing Lead with Utilities domain experience,

As a QA Test Lead you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Rosemead, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada
• Experience with Testing strategies and Test Execution
• 4 years of Data warehouse testing experience with Utilities experience
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies

Preferred Experience

• At least 4 Years of Experience in Software Functional Testing
• Having strong knowledge on Utilities - Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) or Transmission & Distribution areas covering Distributed Management System/Outage Management System or Edge Interface validations integrating to ADMS system.
• Sound knowledge on Test Planning, Test tracking and Issue tracking using tools like ALM, OCTANE, JIRA and HP-ALM
• Having at least 2 years' experience in creating end to end solutions using testing tools, Test Automation
• Should have Strong leadership, analytical skills and ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience in testing for more than 2 years leading a team of at least 4 to 6 members
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Nice to have

• Knowledge on Grid Modernization - Distributed Management Systems/ Outage Management Systems/ Utility GIS based applications/Grid Connectivity Models/ Other Grid Modernization initiatives
• Knowledge of Industry fundamentals, trends and processes. Knowledge of testing Tools, best practices and Automations, understanding of one or more Estimation methodologies, Knowledge of Testing Quality processes

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
