Arthrex is actively searching for a Materials Control Coordinator I at the Pendleton, SC location. Main Objective:

Oversee the shipping, PO creation and flow of outside services. Ensure that preparation of goods for shipment

to outside suppliers are processed accurately and in a timely fashion. Responsible for creating outside work

orders as required. Provide support to the Supply Chain Department as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor all movement of material from the manufacturing floor to warehouse for Outside Services

• Identify part numbers, serial numbers and quantities and assure all match the accompanying paperwork

• Ensure proper components have been issued to work orders for outside processing and communicated

to Receiving Personnel

• Support the coordination of outside processes with department on an as needed basis

• Manage work orders for outside services, and ensure work orders are shipped and received daily to

support production

• Run daily Shortage Reports to help expedite material, by coordinating with Buyers, Inspect ion,

Planners, and Supervisor to prioritize and expedite “Hot List” material

• Support material expediting and inspection release efforts when materials required for the department

are at risk of delay

• Communicate on a daily basis with all levels of Management and Warehouse on pending material issues

• Release Purchase Orders and e-mail to Suppliers all necessary PO’s to support Outside Services

• Support Physical Inventory efforts as required

• Assist planners, as necessary, by closing work orders, resolving issues on the floor and expediting

material, and reconciling shortages

• Establish and run Kan/Ban system non inventory items to support operations (not including

maintenance)

• Perform return to Supplier transactions when returning is required in ERP System

• Run and review MRP reports weekly to support release of work orders and purchase orders of both,

direct and indirect materials

• Ensure supply of assigned items to avoid service issues, communicate any potential gap in supply and

work with vendor to resolution

• Discuss and coordinate resolution of defective goods with suppliers

• As required, provide support to AP to resolve invoice/payment issues.

• Generate purchase requisitions as needed

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 4 years of manufacturing or material management experience required

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Knowledge of logistics, shipping/receiving and warehouse procedures.

Computer and recordkeeping, invoicing and logic skills.

May cover multiple functions and sites.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Knowledge of computers and other office machines.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon

job requirements.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job

requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members

and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
