Logistics Analyst

Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is currently looking for a Logistics Analyst with an engineering background to support our customer in Lakehurst, NJ performing Product Support Management in the Logistics Management Integration Department. The selected candidate will:

Perform management of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program planning, development, and execution
• Assist in planning and implementing Integrated Logistics Support for the life cycle of assigned system/equipment from concept through field deployment


• Prepare written correspondence and verbally report on assigned programs


• Analyze ILS program execution and/or assigned programs' management/sustainment posture to identify deficiencies in established Integrated Logistics Support systems and resolve critical problems


• Provide logistical and administrative support to the government customer


• Candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining spreadsheets, tracking work orders, doing purchase requests, and more


• Provide technical expertise in all areas of supply, inventory management, inventory accuracy and warehousing


• Coordinate resource procurements

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution is required. Educational experience with Logistics, Engineering or Program Management is preferred. Direct logistics experience is required.

The following knowledge, skills, and experience are required:

• MS Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project (Strong knowledge of Word and Excel)


• Good oral and written communication skills


• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail


• Ability to work in a team environment


• Ability to meet scheduled deadlines


• Ability to travel, <25%

The following knowledge, skills, and experience are preferred:

• Department of Defense experience


• Understanding of DoD Logistics and Acquisition, within the United States Navy


• Understanding of NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review process


• Working knowledge of the CORE System software


• Knowledge and understanding of SharePoint

SOLE US Citizenship and an Active DoD clearance is required.
