Hughes Network Systems, LLC, an EchoStar Company, (Hughes) is a leading provider of SD-WAN, security, and managed network services utilizing innovative network technologies and solutions to serve enterprises and governments globally. Hughes is seeking a Senior Staff Program Manager at our Germantown location to oversee business system development.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and tracking a project roadmap for enterprise business processing systems


• Prioritizing and tracking the progress of deliverables with the System Development Group (SDG) and other teams providing business process and automation systems.


• Overseeing a team to ensure top quality deliverables by applying architecture, design, and testing processes including automated testing.


• Recommending and developing agile tools and reports to improve business system reliability and efficiency.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in business or related field


• 8+ years of experience with System Development Life Cycle and defining system requirements


• 5+ years of experience with product quality management and UAT processes such as test strategies, scrums, and defect management


• A collaborative approach to managing employees and interacting with cross functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project management and collaboration skills across divergent organizations within and outside of Hughes including enterprise customers.


• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques


• Strong Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets especially Excel and SQL

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance
