Experienced Non-Manager

The New Product Induction Manager primary responsibility is to work with Turbine Kinetics Engineering and HEICO Parts Group Sales to facilitate new product development. This position reports directly to the General Manager. The following job description includes but is not limited to:




  • Research and identify product development opportunities/candidates. Create and present project business cases to management for internal evaluation and approval.

  • Achieve FY NPI budget goals.

  • Research and perform market analysis on aircraft part data from technical aerospace documents, airline customers and other available sources.

  • Utilize and organize internal database to facilitate project tracking and information requests, both internal and external to the company.

  • Supports and monitors development (WIP) process through internal engineering group with key emphasis on development project milestones.

  • Promotes existing company PMA products and core competencies to internal and external stakeholders to expand new product development.

  • Supports HEICO Parts Group sales goals/objectives through effective communication and teamwork.

  • Must be goal oriented, self-driven and able to perform duties independently.

  • Requires moderate travel domestic and internationally.



Education and Experience:




  • Bachelor's (BS) Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering or Business, from an accredited college or university.

  • At least 5+ years of aviation experience preferably with knowledge of aircraft parts, documentation and FAA certification processes.

  • The ability to mine and analyze data from multiple sources/systems.

  • Experience in reading and interpreting aviation/aircraft documents such as CMMs, IPCs, SDRs, ADs, Service Bulletins, and other operational safety and maintenance instructions.

  • Basic familiarity with manufacturing methods and processes related to the creation of a wide variety of aircraft parts, including engine, airframe, and interior items.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; effective presenter.

  • Demonstrated leadership and superb interpersonal skills in interfacing with employees and customers.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to strict deadlines.

  • Must be flexible in handling multiple tasks, while remaining detail oriented, and possess the drive and ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite MS Excel-Advanced, PowerPoint-Intermediate
