Manager Technology - Restful services & ESB

JOB PURPOSE

Manager Technology drives the translation and construction of a client's business problems into innovative technology solutions by creating and owning the technical vision of the project and ensuring that the vision is achieved with a high level of quality

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Business:

* Understand client business domain and map to API based digital transformation opportunity areas

* Conduct discovery sessions with client to help them understand current challenges and solutions.

* Provide out of box solutions that are competitive, easy to develop, scale and are cost effective

* Address solution components like architecture, provisioning, production, estimation and planning.

* Ability to contribute to RFP process for a given account

Engineering

* Extend core engineering culture by leading technology exploration, writing white papers and contributing to open source community.

* Build boiler plate code, templates and accelerators to enable faster delivery and predictable quality solutions.

* Design, implement, build, test and deploy solution

* Define best practices, performance testing, platform configuration and automation

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Must have Skills

* Experience with Microservices Architecture

* Experience in API Gateway Architecture with an enterprise API gateway- preferably Mulesoft

* Experience in Implementing Integration patterns using Mulesoft

* Hands on experience with Java to be able to build and deploy java-based components

* Experience with public cloud Services-anyone (AWS/ GCP/ Azure)

* Deployed and configured on Cloud Hub, On-Premise version / RTF

* Experience in scripting technologies (Java script).

Must Have development lifecycle skills

* Unit Testing

* Integration Testing

* Automation (Good to Have)

* Devops (CI/ CD, good to Have Terraform)

* Monitoring and Troubleshooting

Good to have Advanced additional skills:

* REST based services design and implementations (Java-Springboot / Node JS)

* Has Implemented GraphQL services

* Experience with Event Driven Architecture (Kafka, MQ etc.)

* Experience with Cloud Integration services

Must have Database Skills:

* Has used No SQL based database technologies e.g. Mono DB, Cassandra etc.

* RDBMS based Database technologies Db2, Oracle, MySQL etc.

EXPERIENCE

* 10-14 years

Education
