Job Description



Support the Lamb Weston Tax Team on several projects and technical responsibilities. Skilled mentors will be assigned to for the duration of the assignment. Typical duties may include but are not limited to:

• Plan and perform internal tax projects


• Leverage data analytics to prepare calculations and perform duties


• Prepare internal audit reports


• Recommend process improvements


• Gather and assess the appropriateness of management corrective actions


• Duration: part time during school year (10 - 20 hours a week), full time in the summer.


• Individual will make a presentation to the Finance Leadership Team at the conclusion of assignment.


• Individual will attend organized social events throughout the summer

• Current enrollment in program related to Tax, Accounting, Finance


• Minimum GPA 3.0


• Self-starter with strong results orientation


• Demonstrated strengths in relationship building, problem solving and conflict management.


• Ability to problem solve with limited guidance


• Continuous improvement mindset and methodology


• Excellent verbal and oral communication skills


• Strong analytical skills


• Strong computer competency


• Experience with MS suite of products desirable
