Job Summary:

Summary:

Performs non-invasive cardiac techniques including electrocardiograms, holter monitor application scanning, pacemaker evaluations, stress testing, signal averaging and all related studies. The non-invasive cardiac technician must possess the knowledge and skill levels that demonstrate quality performance and productivity in a patient oriented environment.

Requirements:

High School Graduate/GED required. Technical School preferred.

CPR through the American Heart Association.

Two to four years of experience preferred.

Cardiovascular credentialing preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

Working knowledge of EKG equipment.

Personal computer skills.

Recognition of Cardiac Dysrhythmias.

Typing 20 wpm.

MediTech experience preferred.
