Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education. Arthrex Manufacturing is actively searching for a Machine Operator for the I&R Department to produce superior products following Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. machining processes and procedures.  A High School Diploma or equivalent and at least three months of directly-related training and/or experience in a manufacturing setting is required for this position. This position will be for 1st Shift (5:00 am to 3:30 pm) working a 10 hour/day, 4 day/week rotating crew schedule. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™. 

This position is eligible for a $750.00 sign-on bonus (minus appropriate tax withholdings) paid after you complete your first 90 days and are an employee in good standing.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Mechanical aptitude required.

At least three months of directly-related training and/or experience in a manufacturing setting required.

Ability to use measuring tools required.

Must pass blueprint reading class.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Knowledge of CNC machines preferred.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements. 

 

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
