LOCATION: Stafford, VA


STATUS: Funded, Actively Interviewing


TRAVEL: Up to 25%


CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain secret security clearance.

DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises is currently seeking a Systems Engineer Jr. to provide engineering and analytical support to assist in the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition and life cycle management in support of Marine Corps Systems Command's Terrestrial Human Intelligence and Persistent Surveillance Sensor Systems. Responsibilities include development of systems engineering documentation and technical writing to support system engineering technical reviews and other programmatic milestone events.


The Candidate shall:



  • Review, analyze, and make recommendations on market research and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) in support of Technology Development strategies.

  • Review and make recommendations on Information Support Plans (ISPs) and requests for information (RFIs).

  • Support the development of Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) process.

  • Assist in development of program Performance Specification (PSPEC) and Requirements Traceability Matrixes (RTM).

  • Assist and develop program systems engineering documentation to include: Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), ESOH, Cybersecurity Assurance Strategies, Test and evaluation strategies, ISPs, and Architecture Views.

  • Coordinate with various stakeholders in functional areas such as systems engineering, software engineering and integration, test and evaluation (T&E), and logistics in support of engineering efforts.

  • Assist with the planning and execution of engineering and developmental test events.

  • Analyze engineering, software, and developmental test results and provides client with recommendations regarding the acquisition, production, and fielding of current hardware and software solutions and recommendations for future improvements.

  • Provide advice on a myriad of technical issues.

  • Obtain and maintain any security clearances, status or licenses required by client to perform work.

  • Assist and perform technical writing as needed to support programmatic reports, instructions, memorandums, etc.

  • Draft memorandums for the record (MFRs) to capture important information of IPT events.

  • Maintain regular onsite work schedule.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:



  • Software development experience desired and sound understanding of systems design, development, and integration.

  • Some knowledge of sensors for collections, AI/ML.

  • Knowledge of systems integration of cross-domain solutions.

  • Relevant experience desired working on an ACAT III-IV & Abbreviated Acquisition Programs.

  • BA/BS and a minimum of 2 years of experience, and desired support of a program management office.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:



  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II in Systems Engineering or civilian equivalent.

  • USMC experience with SETR events preferred.
