Job Description

The Quality Engineer- Training Coordinator position is responsible for the overall management of the training program with oversight at the Searcy, AR facility. This position will report to the quality manager.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Coordinates New Operator Orientation and New Employee Orientation in alignment with business needs


• Lead New employee orientation training for Quality topics


• Supports hourly on the job training (OJT) needs through onboarding and continued development (IDP's)


• Development of local training process and tracking


• Supports training matrix/competency development with operations involvement


• Updates Master Training Plan according to business needs


• Conducts annual Training Needs Assessment with key stakeholders to identify and remedy gaps

Required (basic) qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3 years' experience in a training role

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management or engineering


• Experience in training leadership in a manufacturing environment


• Experience leading a training plan in a manufacturing environment

Job Criteria

• Able to flex work schedule to support employees and managers on off-shifts on an as needed basis


• Excellent written and verbal communications skills


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)


• Able to conduct effective training sessions objectively and confidently to key stakeholders at all levels of the organization


• Demonstrates an ability to research and analyze various types of feedback to make recommendations to continuously improve training offerings in alignment with key business objectives


• Demonstrate the ability to prioritize projects


• Demonstrates an ability to get results with a sense of urgency
