Work Hours/Shift: Full Time Days. M-F (8am-5pm)
You Will Be Responsible For:
Ensures a high-quality service in compliance with all federal, state, local and accrediting body’s rules, regulations, statutes, requirements, and standards, including TJC, measured through quality control, performance improvement activities and customer survey results.
Monthly gathers and assembles Performance Improvement Matrixes and staff schedules.
Exemplifies the core values of Florida Hospital, and serves as a role model and resource for hospital staff and visitors.
Works with physicians to develop and maintain current technologies, processes and procedures.
Ensures that the Department is adequately staffed with appropriately trained and competent healthcare providers; supervising, hiring, evaluating, and disciplining as needed.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
Required:
Associates degree in Nursing OR graduate of an approved respiratory care, radiology technologist, or cardiovascular technologist program.
Must have a minimum 3 years of cath lab experience
Must be a registered invasive cardiovascular technologist (RCIS), radiology technologist (RT), Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or Registered Nurse (RN)
Current BLS, ACLS
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Must demonstrate exceptional clinical skills with leadership qualities.
Job Summary:
The Supervisor is responsible to work with the Director on staff competencies, department policies, accreditation, financial reports and budgets, staffing schedules, maintaining personnel files and daily operations of the Cath Lab. The Supervisor will assist the Director in the overall organization of the Cath Lab and oversee delivery of care for safety and effectiveness as outlined in the Department policies and procedures, and consistent with the therapies of other disciplines.
This position is required to adhere to Advent Health Corporate Compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.
