This established acute care hospital in Eastern New Mexico is looking for an experienced Health Information Management Director to join their community-oriented facility. The Health Information Management Director has the opportunity to apply their skills and expertise to this joint commission accredited medical center.

This acute care medical center covers a wide range of services for inpatient and outpatient procedures. The HIM Director can expect to work at a facility that has medical professionals for cancer care, emergency services, maternity care, rehabilitation services, surgical services, pediatric services, heart care and more. The Health Information Management Director has the opportunity to become an active member of the community of this joint commission accredited hospital and participate in hospital events put on for the community.

The Health Information Management Director will be responsible for procedures and policies in the health information department. This includes management of the health systems electronic records, maintenance of all health-related information, planning and directing department productivity and work quality.  The HIM Director  will report to the CFO. The Health Information Director will work with an advanced team of Health Information Management Analysts, Medical Coders, and Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists. The HIM Director will be using McKesson Patient Folder and Meditech systems for the hospitals electronic medicals records system.
