CyberClarity360™ (a Kroll product) streamlines decision making and simplifies understanding of a company's supply chain cyber risk. Third-party supply chain security is every corporation's responsibility and a critical area of concern, as trusted partners are often the weakest point in a company's defense against cyber-attacks. As part of our Information Management and Governance practice, the CyberClarity360 team is building a software platform to make cyber risk easier to understand, streamline assessment and remediation processes, and improve client and third-party operational security postures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Intern on the CyberClarity360™ team, you will work in tight partnership with the Operations and Platform Engineering teams to help shape the product and deliver a premium customer experience. You may have the opportunity to work directly with technical experts on our Assessment and Managed Services teams to support new and ongoing risk assessments for our customers. The goal is to give you a broad range of experiences across our business, tailored to areas of your interest and areas where you can provide the most value to our team. Experiences may include (but are not limited to) any of the following activities:


  • Assist in developing data-driven reporting dashboards to help quantify system-level activity, potential areas of third-party risk, and open security control gaps (Microsoft SQL Server, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Help create client deliverables that analyze, synthesize, collect, collate, or otherwise interpret third party security assessments (either individual assessments, or groups of various assessments).
  • Assist with developing and delivering remediation advice based on security assessments and industry best-practices in conjunction with Kroll cybersecurity experts.
  • Contribute to Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) work on new software releases, utilizing industry standard tools and platforms (Microsoft DevOps, Microsoft SQL Server).
  • Manage content such as assessment questions and choices or security control framework mappings in a modern repository environment (Microsoft DevOps).
  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience to customers (both internal & external) on behalf of the CyberClarity360™ team.
  • Work in a collaborative manner on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Position will include a hybrid work environment (in office/in person, telecommuting, distributed teams, virtual meetings)

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university or college in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related areas of study (see 3rd bullet for examples)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Academic or practical experience in any of the following areas: Information Security, Digital Forensics, Risk Management, Data Analytics, Software Development, Project Management, AI/Machine Learning, UI/UX Design, or other related areas.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, research, comprehension, and quantitative skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to master new tasks and technologies quickly
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and strong personal integrity
  • Demonstrated commitment to obtaining outstanding results
  • Proficient in applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
