Type: Full-time, Exempt

Reports To: Senior Technology Consultant

Description:

Terra Spectrum Technologies specializes in developing software for field data collection and analytics.  Our client list currently includes electric and gas utilities across the United States, and we are currently poised for significant growth in the natural resources and vegetation management industries.  Our flagship product, FieldNote, allows our clients to develop their own data collection forms and workflows to manage geospatial information and field crew production.  We are looking for an individual with a passion for solving complex problems with simple solutions who thrives in a small team atmosphere.  You will be responsible for the successful deployment of FieldNote across Wright Service Corporation and training and supporting our internal users.  There are many facets to this position, and you will have the opportunity to wear many hats.  We encourage those with a high level of interest to apply.  This is a remote position however office space may be provided if needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in migrating to the FieldNote platform




• Provide recommendations and set up client workflows




• Conduct presentations and train end users




• Work with team members to design and implement new features




• Provide end user support and documentation




• Collaborate with the team to develop a product roadmap for future updates releases




• Meet with clients and attend conferences as needed




• Some travel may be required




• Perform other duties as assigned or related

Qualifications:

• AAS or BS in Computer Science, Software Development, Forestry, Environmental Studies, or equivalent relevant experience




• Bilingual – English and Spanish




• ISA Certified Arborist/Utility Specialist or ability to attain preferred




• Ability to manage many contracts and projects at one time




• Excellent written and oral communication skills




• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a user base with varying degrees of technological skills




• GIS, utility, or environmental work experience or is a bonus




• Work effectively collaboratively and individually




• Experience with field software or software training desired




• Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change with short notice
