Manufacturing Operator
Reports to: Channel Group Manager
Location: Flowery Branch, GA

Job Function:
Sets up and operates machinery to grind, hone and assemble internal and external surfaces of bearing components to specification.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up and tooling sheet to determine rings and grinding specifications.
- Push/pulltub containing rings on wheeled rack to load area.
- Setup machines for grinding, honing, and assembly operation as required.
- Removeand replace grinding wheel using hand tools.
- Dresswheel using pre-set dressing device.
- Usehand tools to complete set-up and make adjustments on grinding, honing and assembly machines during operation.
- Adjustcontrol panel as per grinding, honing, and assembly specifications.
- Completevisual inspection and mechanical inspection utilizing gauges.
- Maintaingrinding, honing, and assembly machines.
- Maintaincleanliness of machines and surrounding work area.
- Placeorders at tool crib for grind wheels, hone stones, and related parts to complete operation.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Applicants must be at least 18
- Applicants are required to have language skills in English at minimum professional proficiency level
- Applicants must stand/walk for up to 12 hours wearing required PPE
- Applicant must work any shift as required/assigned, including overtime and weekends
- Applicant must pass drug screen and criminal background check
Job Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Starts at$16.70 hourly depending on experience
- Working days vary between weekdays and weekends
