Our co-ops are a key talent pipeline for full-time employment opportunities after graduation at our many locations.If you are an Engineering student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Lebanon, MO location, your co-op assignments will be challenging and experienced engineers will mentor students in the Machining Co-op program. You will get exposure to different training and professional/technical development. AS A MACHINING ENGINEERING CO-OP YOU WILL: 

  • Work with machining engineers on highly automated machining lines to improve processes
  • Learn G-code used in machining and be able to learn or apply 3D modeling skills for parts and components as needed
  • Have the opportunity to learn many different engineering practices and gain very important real life experiences in a high volume automated machining department

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS


  • Undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
  • Able to work 40 hours a week (Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30pm) during the scheduled semester
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided

 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: 


  • Undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, analytical and decision making skills, and PC skills including Microsoft Office
  • Manufacturing and AutoCAD experience is a plus
