Based in our Lebanon, MO location, you will report directly to the Technical Team Leader in Tooling and Equipment Design. You will work closely with the Assembly Engineering team gaining valuable experience through hands-on projects in a high volume Assembly plant. You will have exposure to real-time engineering work alongside other engineers to apply what you've learned in the classroom. You will have the ability to communicate with impact, have strong self-awareness, and will be naturally inquisitive. AS AN ASSEMBLY ENGINEERING CO-OP YOU WILL:
Work with Manufacturing Engineers and Process Engineers on projects that will bring a new product to an existing production line
Work on projects that will directly impact the profitability of the plant by initiating cost savings projects
Work on projects to improve processes to make the tasks for the operator more ergonomically sound for the operator
Work with CAD Software to design tooling or fixtures needed for the project

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
Able to work 40 hours a week (Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30pm) during the scheduled semester
Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Prefer a Sophomore or above.
Strong oral and written communication skills, analytical and decision making skills, and PC skills including Microsoft Office
Leadership in school or community organizations preferred
Manufacturing experience preferred
