Job Description:

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Provides clinical & administrative supervision to assigned staff as required utilizing individual & group supervision formats.


• Reviews and manages the assignment/review of case files to ensure compliance with treatment & discharge planning.


• Manages staff/resources to achieve required performance outcomes.


• Serves Substance Abuse Clinical Supervisor as applicable per COMAR requirements.


• Acts in a leadership role within the program to promote the mission, ethics & brand promise of the Walden agency.


• Ensures compliance of established policies & procedures required for program licensing, CARF accreditation, & contract management.


• Participates in continuous quality improvement.

 Specific Responsibilities of the Job:

• Reviews site assessments & conducts the disposition process for designated site.


• Provides oversight of client reports, program reports, & contract management compliance as needed.


• Acts as liaison to referral sources and attends agency/community meetings as needed.


• Monitors implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to State standards and accreditation requirements.


• Participates in on-call supervisor rotation as assigned.


• Carries a client caseload as assigned.


• Coordinates with other Clinical Supervisors to ensure program coverage as needed.


• Adheres to all policies, procedures & regulations.


• Attends & actively participates in staff meetings & trainings as needed.


• Responds appropriately to the cultural difference of staff, clients, residents, & referral sources.


• Maintains a positive work atmosphere that promotes Walden’s culture.


• Other duties as assigned.
