Job Description:

Job Functions:

Ensure full compliance with all standards/regulations
Determine risk and initiate corrective action for mitigation
Lead management in providing a hazard free environment via a safety culture that includes inspections, training, investigations, research, ROI and action plans
Work with all departments to understand their needs, implement programs and ensure all OSHA and DEP safety regulations and company safety policies are being followed
Maintain up to date SDS program
Conduct on-site walk through audits to measure proactive safety steps
Develop and implement health and safety policies/programs for onboarding and training
Perform accident investigations, determine root causes of accident and recommend procedures to eliminate same/similar issues
Facilitate Workers' Compensation employee follow-up
Audit compliance and training policies
Maintain fleet accident database and issue reports
Attend all safety committee meetings, provide technical background, and be the liaison between the committee and management
Develop all safety programs and policies as necessary
Other duties as assigned
