Job Description:
SKF is seeking a Customer Engagement Representative for the Customer Solutions team located at our PEER unit in Illinois to support and help drive sales growth. This position is the front line, key contact for our customers and internal sales teams, and is responsible for building customer relationships, delivering a flawless experience in every interaction, complying with customers' requirements while adhering to SKF policies and proactively drive improvement daily.
Responsibilities Include but are Not Limited to:
- Order book management
- Customer forecasts updates
- Increasing revenue by suggestive selling
- Building and maintaining professional relationships
- Preparing quotes, delivery information, and offering technical knowledge,
- Accurately entering and tracking orders, follow up on shipments and proactively communicate to customer
- Working with factories and product planners to expedite deliveries
- Solving customer complaints and returned goods, while analyzing root cause and propose preventive actions
- Working with field sales to follow up on customer requests
- Working with engineers to ensure customer requirements are met
- Acting as a liaison between customers, sales and factory regarding new, current and future requirements
- Digital B2B business
Requirements:
- SAP experience preferred.
- Experience with prioritizing and completing multiple competing tasks while providing a flawless Customer Experience through first call resolution as well as timely, detailed follow up.
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally across the organization with all levels of employees and management.
- Professional experience in computer skills; strong in Windows, Excel, Macros, Microsoft systems, Lotus Notes databases, C4C (Customer Collaboration Tool), and experience with mainframes.

Maintenance Technician
Location: Johnson City TN
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
2-3-2 shift
Alemite LLC, an SKF Group Brand, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its factory location in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Your Role:
This position is responsible for plant support including machine repair, machine upgrades, facility repairs/troubleshooting, production improvement projects, & preventive maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform complex pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical repairs and improvements of industrial equipment
- Mechanical repairs & CNC support
- Basic welding and fabrication
- Intermediate electrical troubleshooting & repair
- Preventive maintenance & continuous improvement
- Facility maintenance, including repairs/troubleshooting
Job Requirements:
- High School education or equivalent required.
- Ideal candidate will have a related Technical Degree in Industrial. Systems/Maintenance and/or 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Thorough knowledge of specific machinery operation, maintenance, and repair.
- Knowledge of a specific area such as CNC's or screw machines is preferred.
- High competency with process improvement.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to work at height.
- Must be able to work in a confined area as necessary for a period of time.
- Ability to work alone or in a team environment.
